Microalloyed Iron Powder

Microalloyed iron powder is a novel metallic powder material, consisting of iron powder with minute quantities of alloying elements. It is a type of iron-based diffusion alloy powder, typically produced using methods such as chemical reduction, vapor deposition, and ball milling during its preparation process. These alloy elements can include chromium, molybdenum, manganese, vanadium, copper, nickel, and others, with their addition usually being less than 5%. Microalloyed iron powder has good physical properties and chemical stability, as well as high corrosion resistance, wear resistance, strength, and toughness.

Microalloyed iron powder we offered is a high-performance powder metallurgy material, mainly used for producing high-strength, high-toughness steel products. The product uses high-quality raw materials and advanced production processes to ensure high purity and consistency.

We currently offer the following two products:

  1. LD/J: Mainly used in diamond tools, it provides excellent grip on diamonds, high Rockwell hardness, and good sharpness. In the production of low-grade diamond tool products, it significantly reduces the use of precious metals like copper and tin.
  2. LD/F: When used for ordinary powder metallurgy products, it has the morphology of atomized iron powder and the loose packing density of reduced iron powder, which can improve the product’s compressibility and formability. Its strength and hardness are significantly better than ordinary reduced iron powder.
