Copper Iron Alloy Powder

Copper-iron alloy powder is a type of diffusion alloyed powder composed of copper and iron, typically used for manufacturing materials with high strength, high electrical conductivity, and high thermal conductivity. Copper-iron alloy powder is made from copper and iron using diffusion method.

The chemical composition of copper iron alloy powder can be adjusted as needed to meet the requirements of specific applications. Generally, the chemical composition of copper iron alloy powder varies according to its purpose; for example, high-strength applications require higher iron content, while high electrical conductivity applications require higher copper content.

Copper iron alloy powder can also be treated with different methods to improve its physical and mechanical properties, such as heat treatment to increase its hardness and strength, or pressing and sintering to produce parts and components with specific shapes and densities.

Our product uses a special formula and diffusion process, with fine copper particles uniformly dispersed on the surface of iron powder particles, leading to a well-developed powder specific surface area and forming partial alloying at the interface bonding points.

The product has both the uniformity characteristics of copper-clad iron powder and the alloying characteristics of atomized copper iron alloy powder. Compared to copper-clad iron powder, it has a certain degree of alloying and no acid residue. Compared to atomized copper iron alloy powder, since the copper element is dispersed on the iron powder surface, it has a larger specific surface area. Therefore, it has high sintering reactivity and stable sintering performance due to a certain degree of pre-alloying. The strength and hardness of the sintered powder body are increased, and its toughness is outstanding, with better mechanical properties. This results in a reduced production cost and simplified process, making it suitable as the main matrix material. The delicate organizational structure ensures the holding force of diamonds. Additionally, it has no compositional segregation, good formability, and excellent cold-pressing properties, which makes it suitable for automatic pressing and molding.

We currently offers three standard products: FeCu18, FeCu25, and FeCu30.

We can also adjust the copper content and powder particle size according to customer-specific requirements.
