According to a report from external sources on October 28 by Wenhua Finance, Russian mining company Norilsk Nickel raised its production forecast for nickel, copper, palladium, and platinum for 2024. The company reported a 16% quarter-on-quarter increase in nickel production in Q3.
Norilsk Nickel stated that it expects to produce between 196,000 and 204,000 tons of nickel this year, with a total production of 146,210 tons in the first nine months. However, the company noted a 1% decline in copper production and an 8% decrease in both palladium and platinum output in Q3.
